Last Updated: 05 August 2026
The health and safety of our guests is important to us. While Perfume Arts takes reasonable care in the preparation, handling and presentation of all fragrance products, participation in the Perfume Arts experience is voluntary and subject to the following terms.
1. Allergy & Sensitivity
While every reasonable care is taken in the preparation and handling of our fragrances, individual reactions to fragrance ingredients cannot be predicted. Guests with known allergies, asthma, respiratory conditions, fragrance sensitivities or skin conditions should exercise caution and are encouraged to perform a patch test before applying fragrance to the skin. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Perfume Arts shall not be liable for allergic reactions or sensitivities resulting from the normal use of its fragrance products, except where such liability arises from the negligence or wilful misconduct of Perfume Arts. Guests who experience any adverse reaction should discontinue use immediately and seek appropriate medical advice.
2. Fragrance Exposure & Ventilation
Perfume oils contain concentrated aromatic compounds. Some individuals may experience headaches, dizziness, nausea or respiratory discomfort when exposed to fragrances. Perfumes should be used in well-ventilated areas wherever possible. Clients are responsible for ensuring that the venue permits the use of scented products and for informing Perfume Arts of any venue-specific fragrance restrictions or health and safety requirements before the event.
3. Safe Application & Skin Contact
Perfume products are intended for external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, broken skin and other sensitive areas. In the event of accidental contact, rinse thoroughly with clean water and seek medical attention if irritation persists. Perfume Arts is not responsible for accidental staining of clothing, furniture or property resulting from the ordinary use of fragrance products during the event, except where caused by the negligence of Perfume Arts or its staff.
4. Fire Safety
Perfume products contain alcohol and are highly flammable. Guests should keep fragrances away from open flames, candles, sparks and other heat sources. Do not spray perfume directly onto candles or ignition sources and avoid smoking immediately after application. Perfume Arts shall not be responsible for fire-related incidents resulting from the improper handling or misuse of fragrance products.
5. Child Safety
Children under the age of 16 should remain under the supervision of a parent or guardian while near the perfume bar. Perfume products must not be ingested, inhaled excessively or used inappropriately. Perfume Arts accepts no responsibility for incidents involving unsupervised children.
6. Product Storage
Perfume products should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat and open flames. Keep all fragrance products out of the reach of young children and pets.
7. Medical Assistance
Any guest experiencing dizziness, breathing difficulties, severe skin irritation or any unexpected reaction should immediately discontinue use of the fragrance, notify a Perfume Arts consultant and seek appropriate medical assistance where necessary.
8. Limitation of Liability
By participating in the Perfume Arts experience, guests acknowledge that fragrance products may affect individuals differently and accept the inherent risks associated with their voluntary use. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Perfume Arts' liability for any claim arising from participation in the experience shall be limited to losses directly caused by the negligence or wilful misconduct of Perfume Arts or its employees. Nothing in this disclaimer excludes or limits any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
